Food, music and fun are on the agenda for Victoria College Pirates Day on Wednesday.
Activities for students, faculty and staff begin with a grilled hamburger lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m, provided by the Fire Academy.
VC sports teams, including men's and women's basketball, baseball and women's volleyball, will be introduced at 12:15 p.m.
A "Stress Busters: Who You Gonna Call?" workshop will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
This year's Pirate Booty Challenge will consist of a trivia challenge, root beer chugging contest, dance-off, survivor relay and minute to win it games. Teams of five are invited to compete in these five events.
The challenge will be from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Student Center and Sports Center. Students can sign up in the Student Activities Office or in the Sports Center.
The public is invited to join VC students and employees for the VC Pirates men's and women's basketball games against Northwest Vista College starting at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. in the VC Sports Center gym.
Admission to the game is $3 for adults and free for anyone with a college ID card.
