Accident

An overturned tractor-trailer south of Refugio on U.S. Highway 77 South closed the road early Wednesday morning. The driver, Ruben Cantu, of Edinburg, was uninjured when his trailer tipped over during a traffic stop, said Department of Public Safety Trooper Blake Eubanks, who attempted to make the stop. Traffic was stopped for half an hour until the truck was cleared.

At least one person was injured and transported to an areal hospital after a wreck on Main Street near Zac Lentz Parkway about 7:45 a.m. Wednesday. The person's name and extent of injuries were not known as of Wednesday night.

Arrested

VICTORIA - Tiffany Nicole Gonzales, 20, of Victoria, by deputies Tuesday on a warrant charging her with violation of probation in a possession of marijuana case.

VICTORIA - Jerry Neil Hartl Jr., 39, of Victoria, by deputies Tuesday on a warrant charging him with violation of parole.

Assaulted

VICTORIA - A 25-year-old Victoria woman in the 400 block of Oak Street on Tuesday.

VICTORIA - A 34-year-old Victoria woman in the 300 block of Clydesdale Lane on Sunday.

Burglarized

VICTORIA - A home in the 3300 block of Pleasant Green Drive on Tuesday. A large container of laundry soap, valued at $4, was reported missing.

Damaged

VICTORIA - A 2011 gray Chevrolet Tahoe's fender, drywall and a picture frame, valued together at $575, in the 300 block of Clydesdale Lane on Sunday.

VICTORIA - A vehicle's windshield, valued at $1,200, in the 6800 block of of North Main Street on Monday.

Stolen

VICTORIA - Furniture and appliances, valued at $2,400, in the 2200 block of Loma Vista Avenue on Tuesday.

Indicted

VICTORIA - Gaudencio C. Rodriguez, 47, of Victoria, on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is charged with assaulting a person with a knife on Dec. 7.

VICTORIA - Thomas Raymond Fifer Jr., 46, of Victoria, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram of cocaine in a drug-free zone charge on Jan. 3.
