Editor, the Advocate:
Too bad there are not more honest people in Victoria. I was at the city golf course in Riverside Park on Sunday and left my new camera on my truck. Apparently, someone found it and kept it. I checked at the clubhouse to see if there was an honest person who might have stepped forward and turned it in. Surprise, surprise, there was not one. I hope whoever found it enjoys the pictures of my children and grandchildren at Christmas. Those can never be replaced. The camera was a birthday and Christmas gift to me from my wife and daughter; enjoy it. Ladies, if your husband comes home with an Olympus camera in a black case, he didn't buy it. He was just not honest enough to turn it in. He can't charge it, as I have the charging cord. If he wants a reward, call me. I will forget he was not honest enough to turn it in at the clubhouse and I will give him a reward. Thanks for ruining my holiday season by not being honest enough to turn it in. Hope you enjoyed your round of golf on Sunday and your next round of golf.
