3 vehicles involved in crash at Navarro and Rio Grande streets

Three vehicles were involved in a wreck at the inter section of North Navarro and Rio Grand Streets about 2:30 p.m. Sunday, after one vehicle failed to yield at a red light. Victoria Police Officer W. A. McLeroy said Krystin Ortiz, 30, of Victoria, was driving white 2011 Jeep Patriot east on Rio Grande Street and struck Lori Amsler, 37, driving south on North Navarro Street in a 2004 beige Pontiac Grand Am, Amsler, of Victoria, then struck a 1984 blue Ford F-150, driven by Wynell Maeker, 54, also of Victoria.

Three vehicles were involved in a wreck at the intersection of North Navarro and Rio Grande streets about 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

Victoria Police Officer W.A. McLeroy said Krystin Ortiz, 30, of Victoria, was driving a white 2011 Jeep Patriot east on Rio Grande Street and struck Lori Amsler, 37, driving south on North Navarro Street in a 2004 beige Pontiac Grand Am.

Amsler, of Victoria, then struck a 1984 blue Ford F-150, driven by Wynell Maeker, 54, also of Victoria.

"The Patriot had a green light. The Grand Am didn't," McLeroy said.

No one was injured at the scene, and McLeroy said no citations were issued at the scene.
