Find the logo, Win goodies from GC
We've hidden a GC logo in this edition for you to find. It's not in an ad and can be found in any of the stories or photos. When you find it, be sure to like our Facebook page and post the location of the logo on our wall, then we'll put your name in a drawing to win a $50 gift card for Golden Wings Boutique.
Norma Fritsch found the Holiday Issue's red-and-green logo hidden on page 40 and was the winner of four movie tickets to the Victoria Cinema 12.
Welcome, 2013. It's time to get this year started and what better way than to debut our new issue of Golden Crescent Magazine.
It's also time for everyone to declare a new resolution for the 2013. One of the most popular resolutions is to get into better shape. Some will eat better, others will exercise more and others, yet, will make resolutions that include paying off debt, blogging more and dining out less.
Now is also the time when soon-to-be-wed couples start planning for weddings.
Golden Crescent Magazine is the presenting sponsor for the Pilot Club's 23rd annual Bridal Showcase Jan. 13 at the Victoria Community Center. This edition has information for brides- and grooms-to-be and as well as those who have already exchanged vows. We have a complete list of vendors and a map of the community center, so you can choose who will cater or decorate your wedding.
And as always, we have our Top 5 sweethearts included in the mix. We chose these stories because they were a unique representation of all the love stories submitted from readers of Golden Crescent Magazine. I have a soft spot when it comes to romance and think these stories are great examples of how love always triumphs, whether the search for love takes you through hard times or halfway around the world.
I hope you enjoy this edition of Golden Crescent Magazine as we kick off the new year. We have a lot planned for 2013, and we hope you'll join us for it.
Cheers to 2013,
