Family: Married 16 years. Two daughters: Kelley, married to Tom Wortham, with children Travis and Walker; and Kamme, married to Hugh Jons, with children Alivia, Tres and Josephine.

What are your most romantic moments you've shared as a couple?
Russell: Looking at the moon together over Lavaca Bay and going to Playa del Carmen in Mexico.
Cherre: Trips to Mexico or cold Texas evenings with a fire enjoying a purple sunset in Texas Hill Country.
What is your favorite thing about your partner?
Russell about Cherre: So full of imagination and so creative. Never a dull moment.
Cherre about Russell: Generous! He just knows how to make anything and everything happen.
When did you know you were going to spend the rest of your lives together?
Russell: When she walked out of the restaurant with her smile and her hips were moving side to side.
Cherre: The day I met him, I knew I had finally met the man who moves so fast that I would have to keep up with him. Not him with me.
How do you think your family and friends would describe the two of you as a couple?
Russell: Match made in heaven.
Cherre: Pamper each other with surprises and love to travel with the kids and grandkids.
What's the wildest thing you and your partner have ever done together?
Russell: Limo trip to Corpus and the San Antonio River boat. And she saw all her family on her 50th birthday and she said, "Now what have you done? What a surprise!"
Cherre: My surprise 50th, walking along the Riverwalk in San Antonio, this barge comes by with my entire family and friends. Then, a wonderful weekend with all of us cooking together, which means he usually doesn't make it home in time. So he has someone come in to prep while I cook, . I make a mess, and he cleans up!
What traditions do you have when celebrating your anniversary?
Russell: Birthdays are always a surprise because her birthday is also Valentine's Day.
Cherre: Surprises! Usually limos to dinner out of town with friends.
