Severe weather expected

The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi is expecting possible severe weather for Victoria County on Wednesday.

Forecasters said that between 7 a.m. and noon damaging wind gusts of up to 60 mph, marginally severe hail, isolated tornadoes and rainfall could develop.

The primary threat should be the winds, according to the National Weather Service.

The weather pattern is expected to push through the Victoria region by early afternoon Wednesday.

The expected precipitation in Victoria for Wednesday is three inches. Victoria received .13 of an inch of rain early Tuesday.
