Thank you for support after loss of mother

Editor, the Advocate:

On behalf of the Julia Zacek family, I wish to express our sincere gratitude to friends and family for the visits, prayers, kind condolences, flowers and memorials made on behalf of our beloved mother. Special thanks to Kendall and Daniel, St. Theresa and St. John Bosco Altar Societies and all others who prepared food and assisted our family in so many ways. For those that were able to attend Mother's funeral services, you truly touched all of us by your presence and participation in the celebration of her life. Thanks to Hospice of South Texas for their awesome, caring services that allowed us to keep Mother with family and at home. Mother lived her life as a true servant and will be remembered for always putting others' needs ahead of her own, her warm smile, beautiful handmade quilts and my favorites, her kolaches and strudel.
