Break away from the typical musical performance with a presentation of "A Little Nightmare Music" by Igudesman & Joo.
The Victoria Bach Festival will host Aleksey Igudesman and Hyung-ki Joo, a musical pair who has performed classical and not-so-classical pieces all over the world, at the Leo J. Welder Center on Thursday.
The pianist-violinist duo will kick off their return to the U.S. with a show in Victoria and make their way across the country. The show will include musical renditions from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "A Little Night Music," as well as popular hits as "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor.
Igudesman & Joo "kick the stuffing out of classical music, mixing genres and styles with hearty doses of humor and theatricality," according to a news release. Audience members can expect laughs and elegant music during the show.
