• Stacy Cis, coordinator for Walk Across Texas, an eight-week program designed for people to stay physically active, said 13 miles per week can be completed if a person participates with a team of seven other people. The program will consist of walking a total of 830 miles during the eight weeks. The incorrect mileage per day was published in a story on Page A1 on Monday.

• Victoria Oneal, 20, of Nixon, was indicted Jan. 10 on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and theft. A blotter item published on Page B2 on Tuesday contained incorrect information.

• The Friends of the Library will offer a special sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, the final day of the book sale. Patrons with Friends of Library tote bags, new and old, will be able to stuff the bags with books for a $1 per bag, repeatedly. The rules were unclear in a story on Page B1 on Tuesday.
