Victoria West (4-1-1) produced its fourth shutout in six games Tuesday night as it beat Tuloso-Midway 1-0. Edward Rodriguez assisted Ernesto Perez's goal, which was the difference in the game.
Tuesday was the third time the two schools have met in boys soccer. All three games ended 1-0. Tuloso-Midway won a bi-district playoff game in 2011, while West won its home opener over the Warriors last January.

Nicole Sonthemier's pass to Groenhuyzen allowed St. Joseph to tie the game late in the first half. Kristin Sontheimer and Kendra Barker assisted Groenhuyzen's tow second half goals as St. Joseph improved to 4-1 on the season.
