Holy Family Altar Society hosts meeting

The Holy Family Altar Society held their monthly meeting Jan. 14. President Melicent Bryarly opened the meeting with a prayer. Everyone enjoyed a delicious meal served by the hostesses. They were Su Borowicz, Karen Green, Elizabeth Klecka, Mary Kocian, Faye Melnar, Loretta Morris, Elizabeth Schmidt, Darlah Sims and Agnes Southers. President Bryarly thanked them for the wonderful food.

Upcoming events for the Altar Society are the Bunco party Jan. 16, bake sale Feb. 2-3, anniversary reception Feb. 3, games party Feb. 7 and a mini retreat Feb. 9. Father Pat Knippenberg will be the retreat master. His theme is "How to form your conscience in the desert of your mind."

Door prizes were awarded and prayer petitions were offered by the members. Father Bob Knippenberg led everyone in prayer. President Bryarly adjourned the meeting.
