Four people went to the hospital following two separate wrecks Tuesday morning.
A 7:24 a.m., a 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by Ramona Valdez, 32, of Victoria, was traveling south on Navarro when she failed to yield at a stop sign, colliding with a 2012 Ford Fusion headed east on East Water Street, driven by Bobbie Jo Lamas, 27, of Victoria, said Victoria Police Department spokeswoman Sgt. Eline Moya.
Lamas and two children in her car, ages 10 and 5, were taken by ambulance to Citizens Medical Center with unknown injuries.
Valdez and two children in her vehicle, ages 10 and 4, were uninjured.
No citations were issued in the crash, said Moya.
About 15 minutes later on U.S. Highway 87 at Loop 463, in the 7800 block of North Main Street, EMS responded to a wreck involving a 2011 Kenworth semitrailer not pulling a trailer, and a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The truck was stopped at the traffic signal and struck from behind by the Jeep, driven by Quinton Haun, 22, of Cuero, said Moya.
Haun was taken by ambulance to Citizens Medical Center with unknown injuries and the driver of the truck was uninjured.
Haun was issued citations for no insurance and possession of drug paraphernalia, Moya said.
