Man receives 'Outstanding Fire Fighter' award

Ethan Carver, center, grandson of Bill and Pat Dunn, of Victoria, graduated from the TEEX Fire Training Academy, which is associated with Texas A&M University on Dec. 21. Carver was appointed captain and named "Outstanding Fire Fighter" by his classmates. He serves with the Lucas Volunteer Fire Department.
