Yoakum livestock auction tops $200,000 again

The annual Yoakum FFA and 4-H Livestock show brought in $203,323, the third consecutive year the show has topped the $200,000 mark.

"Students sold 70 projects, and we appreciate the buyers who took part in another successful sale," said Christie Michalcik, Yoakum High School agriculture teacher.

Kaci Herman, of Outsiders 4-H, showed the grand champion steer.
