Cheerleaders compete in competition

The West Warrior Cheerleaders recently competed in Cheer USA Regional Open Championship in Belton and placed first in the Small Varsity Advanced Division. They were also named Overall High Point in High Schools. The team members, front row, from left, are Chrysta Guerra and Taylor McCrary; middle row, from left, are Breanna Heller, Britt Newyear, Kaitlyn Balli, Rebecca Gonzales and Kellsey Brandt; and back row, from left, are Faith Orosco, Courtney Magill, Brea Newyear, Kindle Burns and Miracle Sanchez. The cheerleaders are under the direction of Coach Phallon Crawford.
