A sport utility vehicle crashed into a drainage ditch off Airline Road and Navarro Street late Thursday.

Victoria emergency responders removed three occupants - two adult men and one adult woman - from the vehicle about 11 p.m. and transported them to DeTar Hospital Navarro.

The occupants' names and their conditions were not immediately available. The cause of the crash was under investigation.

The white SUV, a Chevrolet Trailblazer, fell about 25 feet into the ditch and into about 3 to 4 feet of water, said Lt. Michael Beyer of the Victoria Police Department.

He said the vehicle was westbound on 300 block of East Airline Road when it left the pavement and smashed into the drainage ditch.
