Demonstrators need to understand facts of case

Editor, the Advocate:

First, I am sad for the family of Trayvon Martin for their loss, but they could have been sad had Trayvon killed George Zimmerman, the Hispanic.

Trayvon was walking between houses, not walking down the street, to a store to buy something, which caused concern for Mr. Zimmerman since there had been break-ins of homes recently in that area. Trayvon didn't have to come back to where Zimmerman was - unless he felt guilty?

Trayvon hit and broke Zimmerman's nose, knocked him down and beat his head on the concrete causing lots of cuts and scrapes on the back of his head. Zimmerman feared for his life. Would those who demonstrate for Trayvon be happy had he killed Zimmerman?

Zimmerman should never have been charged; it was self-defense. The one who charged him is racist and should lose that job permanently!
