Statements supporting shooter are ridiculous
Editor, the Advocate:
How ridiculous are some of the statements and opinions you read in the paper and see on TV concerning the George Zimmerman verdict of "not guilty"?
It makes no difference who you are or what color you are. What if you had a 17-year-old son who went to the store, made a purchase, paid for it and was then profiled by someone while walking home?
Trayvon wasn't breaking any law. Yet he was followed and then encountered by that person who had a gun. Zimmerman shot and killed that boy.
You as a parent would be upset and angry. You would not agree with a "not guilty" verdict. If you say otherwise, you are telling a lie.
