Experiences driving show how tough life is
Editor, the Advocate:
This morning at 3:20, I was awakened by the firing of a "machine gun." Could it be Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow at it again?
Three days ago, while taking a shortcut home to Seadrift from Port Lavaca, the road was too narrow for my car and giant-sized farm machines, so I had to take the ditch.
Which one of us had the right of way? The farm machines were way too wide for the road, and there was no room for them to pull over. The two giant-sized farm machines did lift their giant-sized arms up in the air over my car, but being on a step-ditch bank was not any fun for me because I am "not young" anymore.
P.S. - Living in the "Wild West" is not good for high blood pressure.
