Firemen work to extract several people from a two-vehicle noon wreck at Main Street and Red River Street on Friday.

A two-car wreck sent three adults and two children to the hospital Friday.

According to witness statement, about 12:50 p.m., a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer northbound in the 2000 block of Main Street ran a red light, said patrol officer Ricardo Soto.

The Trailblazer struck a 2002 Ford F-150 westbound on Red River Street.

An elderly woman and two children passengers in the Trailblazer were transported to Citizens Medical Center.

The driver and passenger, both men, in the F-150 were transported to DeTar Hospital Navarro.

The names and conditions of those transported were not available.

The accident is under investigation with the Victoria Police Department.
