Fire

YORKTOWN - A small fire broke out about 11:50 a.m. Wednesday at an oil-field compression station at Metting Road and Farm-to-Market Road 240 near Yorktown. The auto shutoff valve shut down the pipeline. The fire burned itself out, said DeWitt County Sheriff Jode Zavesky. No injuries were reported.

Arrested

VICTORIA - Brianna Nicole Jimenez, 19, of Victoria, by deputies Tuesday on a warrant charging her with violation of probation in a possession of a controlled substance case and a burglary of vehicle case.

VICTORIA - Stephine Luna, 24, of Victoria, by officers Tuesday on a warrant charging her with theft of property.

VICTORIA - A 23-year-old Lake Charles man by deputies Tuesday on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession delivery of drug paraphernalia.

VICTORIA - Devon Michael Rivera, 26, of San Antonio, by deputies Tuesday on a warrant charging him with obstructing a highway passageway.

VICTORIA - A 40-year-old Gregory man by officers May 31 on suspicion of assault causing bodily injury to a family member.

VICTORIA - A 30-year-old Victoria man by deputies Tuesday on suspicion of assault causing bodily injury.

VICTORIA - A 17-year-old Victoria man by officers Tuesday on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

VICTORIA - Taylor Zane Dobbs, 23, of Victoria, by officers Wednesday on a warrant charging him with violation of probation in an attempt to take a weapon from an officer case and on suspicion of prohibited substance in a correction facility and possession of a controlled substance.

Assaulted

VICTORIA - A 43-year-old woman at a home in the 1300 block of Loma Vista Avenue on Tuesday.

Burglarized

VICTORIA - A home in the 1800 block of Lawndale Avenue on Monday. An electric cordless saw valued at $225 was reported missing.

VICTORIA - A vehicle in the 900 block of Oak Street on Monday. Electronics and medicine valued at $200 were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A vehicle in the 2200 block of Houston Highway on Wednesday. Electronics valued at $1,500 were reported missing.

Damaged

VICTORIA - A vehicle in the 100 block of Regency Avenue on Tuesday. Damages to a rear windshield were estimated at $500.

Stolen

VICTORIA - A bank card valued at $2, an insurance card valued at $2 and a woman's wallet valued at $15 from a home in the 300 block of South Bridge Street on Friday. The debit card was later used in a $149.36 transaction.

VICTORIA - A 2-key button accordion valued at $3,500 from a home in the 1000 block of Loma Vista Avenue on Friday.

VICTORIA - A stove valued at $811.72 from a home in the 1000 block of Pine Street on Friday.

VICTORIA - An accordion with a black case valued at $800 from a home in the 800 block of East Convent Street on Friday.

VICTORIA - A black flip phone valued at $50 from a home in the 3500 block of Erwin Avenue on Friday.

VICTORIA - A multicolor wallet, valued at $5, about 118 Xanax pills valued at $20, about 25 Zyvanse pills valued at $20, and $20 in cash from a home in the 3400 block of Oaklawn Street on Saturday.

VICTORIA - A black 9-millimeter gun valued at $400, from a home in the 500 block of Avenue D on Friday.

Sentenced

VICTORIA - Ricardo Julian Flores, 22, of Victoria, to four years in prison after he pleaded guilty on Tuesday to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

VICTORIA - Adam Riojas Jr., 27, of Victoria, to 18 months in state jail after he pleaded guilty Tuesday to burglary of a building. He was also sentenced Tuesday to four years in prison after his sentence was amended in a January 2011 aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge. The sentences will run concurrently.

VICTORIA - Carl Scott Clyburn, 30, of Victoria, to five years probation and 80 hours of community service after he pleaded guilty Tuesday to possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram.

VICTORIA - Pedro Reyes Gonzales, 26, of Victoria, to 10 years in prison after he pleaded guilty Tuesday to manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance between 4 and 200 grams. He was also sentenced to 10 years in prison after his probation was revoked Tuesday for an October 2009 possession of a controlled substance between 1 and 4 grams charge. The sentences will run concurrently.

VICTORIA - Carolyn Teresa Hinojosa, 38, of Victoria, to five years probation after she pleaded guilty Tuesday to injury to a child, elderly or disabled person with intent to bodily injure.
