2 days left to vote early in Victoria runoff election

With two days remaining in the Victoria City Council runoff election, 377 people have voted in person, including 74 who voted Friday.
Of the 345 mailed ballots, 275 have been returned, according to a news release from the Victoria County Election Administrator's Office.
Voters will go to the polls June 15 to determine who will represent Super District 5 on the Victoria City Council. Incumbent Joe Truman is running against Dr. Andrew Young. Super District 5, which covers the southern portion of the city, has 15,096 registered voters.
Early voting is at the election administrator's office, 2805 N. Navarro St. The poll will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. On Election Day, voting will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 11 precinct polling places.
The following election precincts and polling locations are within Super District 5. 1 - Hopkins Academy, 2 - County Courthouse, 3 - Trinity Episcopal Church, 4 - Patti Welder Middle School, 5 - Crain Elementary School, 7 - O'Connor Elementary School, 8 - Shields Elementary School, 9 - National Guard Armory, 32 - Victoria ISD Administration Building, 34 - Dudley Magnet School, 35 - FW Gross Montessori School.
