Limited search continues for missing Goliad man
Park Rangers at Mesa Verde National Park continued to look for a missing Goliad man Sunday but in a limited search, according to a news release.
Mitchell Stehling, 51, went missing June 9 when he went for a hike. Stehling was visiting the park with family.
Park officials confirmed that Stehling was still missing Sunday.
Rangers used the park's helicopter to search the canyons and mesas of the park, and ground-based teams searched canyons and trails, according to the news release, but they scaled back the search Saturday to a small team of rangers.
Visitors who hiked the Petroglyph Trail on June 9 or June 10 are asked to call park law enforcement at 970-529-4422.
