Kari Elizabeth Polzin of Victoria and Kyle Matthew Hodson of Kingsville were married on June 14, 2013, at 4:00 p.m. in an outdoor ceremony at the Four Seasons Resort in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The Reverend Ben Pascal of Jackson Hole officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Don and Debbie Polzin of Victoria. She is the granddaughter of Gladys Wishert of Cuero and the late Leon Wishert, Leon Polzin of Victoria and the late Mary Polzin.
The groom is the son of Hollis and Lu Ann Hodson of Calallen. He is the grandson of Robert Bombei of Corpus Christi and the late Bettie Bombei, the late Hollis and Mary Hodson of Plainview, Indiana.
Katherine (Kate) Polzin and Taylor Grace Polzin, nieces of the bride, attended as flower girls.
A reception and dinner were held following the ceremony on the terrace of the Four Seasons Resort. The couple will honeymoon in the Teton Mountains. They will reside in Kingsville.
Kari is a 2002 graduate of Memorial High School and 2010 graduate of the University of Houston-Victoria where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with emphasis on Early Childhood Education. She is employed by Riviera ISD as a fifth and sixth grade English teacher.
Kyle is a 2003 graduate of Calallen High School and a 2011 graduate of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History. He is currently a History teacher employed by Tuloso Midway ISD, where he coaches football and baseball.
On the eve of the wedding, the parents of the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Mangy Moose Restaurant nestled in the Teton Mountains.
