An Ingleside husband and wife, who once lived in Bayside, died June 13 after an apparent murder-suicide.

Jerry Wolfshohl called the Ingleside 911 that day saying her husband, James Wolfshohl, was going to kill her, according to a news release from the Ingleside Police Department.

While talking to the woman, a dispatcher heard a gunshot over the phone.

The two were at their home in the 2000 block of La Quinta Drive. After the initial 911 call, the husband called his son to tell him he shot and killed his mom and that he was going to kill himself, according to the news release.

When officers arrived at the home, they found the husband holding a gun.

Officers told him to drop the gun, but instead he walked around a wall and shot himself, according to the news release.
