Patricia Anne Leske and Matthew William Toliusis were married at 6:30 p.m., July 6, 2013 in an outdoor ceremony at Mercury Hall in Austin, Texas. Christopher Chow, friend of the couple, officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Bob and Kathleen Leske, of Cuero. She is the granddaughter of the late Bill and Mildred Smolik and the late Bill and Patsy Leske, all of Cuero.
The groom is the son of Vete and Linda Toliusis, of Paw Paw, Michigan. He is the grandson of William Woodman and the late Katherine Woodman and the late Joseph and Emilia Toliusis, all of Paw Paw, Michigan.
Scarlett Oehlke of Austin, friend of the bride, attended as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Anna Leske of Denver, Colorado, sister of the bride, and Golden Dale Oehlke of Austin, friend of the bride.
Anthony Smith of Austin, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Paul Toliusis of Paw Paw, Michigan and Mark Toliusis of Chicago, Illinois, both brothers of the groom.
Harley Young, of Denver, Colorado, served as an usher. Musicians were Andrew Mansberger and Matt Hebert, both friends of the groom. Nick Goodman was the reader.
A reception in Mercury Hall followed the ceremony. The couple spent their honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and will reside in Austin.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of the University of Texas in Austin with a Bachelors of Fine Arts and a 2011 magna cum laude graduate of Texas State University with a Masters in Education. She is currently employed as a first grade teacher at St. Austin Catholic School in Austin.
The groom is a Fall 2014 candidate of Texas State University pursing a Bachelor of Science in Geography with certificates in Location Analysis and GIS. He is currently employed by Whole Foods in Austin.
