Cuero senior awarded scholarship from music teachers association

Madison Simpson, a senior at Cuero High School, was recently awarded a 100 senior scholarship from the Victoria Music Teachers Association. This award was presented to Madison by her piano teacher, Jo Ann Hoffman, at the VMTA Honors Recital on May 4 at the Johnson Symposium Center. Madison is ranked No. 4 in her senior class and is the recipient of the CHS Top College Chemistry Award. She was named Citizen of Tomorrow by the Cuero Chamber of Commerce. She will attend the University of Texas in San Antonio in the fall with a major in business. Madison is the daughter of John and Rosalie Simpson, of Cuero.
