Can you tell me all about this year's lineup of music entertainers for Bootftest?
Absolutely. The Victoria Convention and Visitors Bureau is proud to announce the entertainment lineup for the third annual Bootfest, scheduled for Oct. 4 and 5 in downtown Victoria.
This year's headliner for Oct. 5 is country music artist Jerrod Niemann. He has appeared several times on U.S. and Canadian country music charts. His most notable song is his 2010 debut single, "Lover, Lover," which ranked No. 1 on the U.S. country music charts and is certified platinum.
Bri Bagwell and Micky and the Motorcars are the opening acts for Niemann.
Opening acts for Bootfest on Oct. 4 are The Turnpike Troubadors and Six Market Blvd.
Several area and regional bands will perform on the Shiner Bock Stage 2 on both days, including Bill Pekar and the Rainey Brothers, Joshua Cole (formerly the Six String Boys), the Krystals, Jeremy Halliburton, Nate Rodriguez and the Washers.
In addition to all of the free concerts, there will also be arts and crafts vendors, a Kid's Corral, a fireworks show and a variety of food and drinks.
