Bronte Club meets at Women's Club House
The meeting of Bronte Club of Victoria was called to order by President Jamie McMahon at 3 p.m. Feb. 6 at the Victoria Women's Clubhouse.
The Bronte Club members were lead in the club collect and pledges of allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and the Texas Flag. Being guest day, each member who brought a guest introduced them as roll was called.
Bronte member Carole Oliphant introduced the guest speaker Chef Molly Fowler, The Dining Diva. Fowler enthusiastically shared her expertise in "Entertaining Essentials - Love Being the Hostess" with a checklist for how to prepare for a party.
President McMahon reminded members of the next Bronte Club meeting was at 3 p.m. Feb. 20 at the Victoria Women's Club House. The Arts Program titled "Our Duty to Exchange," will be presented by Anthony Pedone, independent film maker.
The meeting was adjourned for the tea hour presented by the entertainment committee: Rose Drost, Babs Diebel, Betty Jo Elder, Ila Knabe, Emily Markette and Mary Jane Schurtz.
