• Name: Spencer Townsend

• Age: 24

• City of residence: Victoria

• Current title: Remodeler

• First job: When I was 15, I worked for a man who bought $1 million in spare parts from a military auction. My job was to find the different parts in the barrels and at the top of the racks. I worked there about six months.

• What it taught me: My boss was 75 years old and was still doing canoe races, owning his own business and talking about how sad he was that he wouldn't be around to see what was coming next. He appreciated the things around him and was full of life. He made me appreciate those same things.
