St. Joseph High School students advance to TAPPS state competition

David Du, Clara Allen, Jess Williams, Marian Howard and Johanna Hoang recently competed in Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools Regionals on Feb. 1 and 2. They will advance to the TAPPS state competition  April 5 and 6 at Concordia University.

The following students competed in Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools regionals competition Feb. 1 and 2 and will advance to the TAPPS state competition April 5 and 6 at Concordia University:

Marian Howard placed first, and Johanna Hoang placed third in prose.

David Du placed first in number sense and advanced math.

Jess Williams placed second, and Clara Allen placed fourth in poetry.

Other students who competed include: Theo Boozalis, Walker Gann, Marlena Gutierrez, Jonathan Hernandez, Sofia Horadam, Madalyn Kainer, Connally Krueger, Hira Malik and Ian Mead.
