Cooler Tuesday after record heat

After a record-tying high of 90 degrees on Monday, temperatures return to closer to normal Tuesday.
Mostly sunny with a high near 79. East northeast wind 8 to 15 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
A 20 percent chance of showers Tuesday night. Mostly cloudy with a low around 60. East southeast wind 10 to 14 mph becoming north northeast after midnight.
The 90-degrees for Monday's high tied the record for March 18 set in 1992, according to the National Weather Service.
