Arrested

VICTORIA - A 24-year-old Victoria man by officers Sunday on suspicion of criminal mischief between $1,500 and $20,000.

VICTORIA - Jorge Ramos, 47, of Telferner, by officers Monday on a warrant charging him with violation of parole.

VICTORIA - Preston Lee Williams Jr., 25, of Victoria, by deputies Monday on a warrant charging him with delivering marijuana and violation of probation in a burglary of a habitation case.

VICTORIA - A 31-year-old Victoria man by officers Tuesday on suspicion of possession of marijuana in a drug-free-zone.



Assaulted

VICTORIA - A 34-year-old Victoria woman at a home in the 1700 block of Azalea Street on Friday.

VICTORIA -A 51-year-old Victoria man in the 1700 block of North Laurent Street on Sunday.



Burglarized

VICTORIA - A 2006 black Jeep Commander on Sunday in the 4100 block of North Navarro Street. Miscellaneous mail valued at $75 was reported missing.

VICTORIA - A black 2009 Chevrolet Malibu and a silver 2002 Honda Civic on Sunday in the 3500 block of Pleasant Green Drive. An Apple iPhone valued at $400, a Jansport backpack valued at $30, earbuds valued at $100, earrings valued at $100, a Coach purse valued at $400, a Nike gym bag valued at $50, Nike shoes valued at $175, a GPS valued at $200, a tablet valued at $500, a Coach wallet valued at $200 and $1,200 in cash and miscellaneous bills were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A vehicle in the 1800 block of Rosemary Drive on Sunday. A Boss sound system valued at $450 was reported missing.

VICTORIA - A vehicle in the 2000 block of Sam Houston Drive on Sunday. A black and beige Michael Kors purse valued at $200 and an Android tablet valued at $125 were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A 2000 tan Chevrolet Impala in the 3100 block of Sam Houston Drive on Monday. A Black Ops Playstation3 game valued at $30, a Wrestlemania All Stars Playstation3 game valued at $30, a blue 6x8 lock box valued at $10 and prescription medication valued at $150 were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A 2008 tan Dodge Ram in the 100 block of Berkshire Lane Friday. NRA binoculars valued at $100, three checkbooks valued at $2 each, a game warden badge and wallet valued at $75 were reported missing. Two checkbooks and a game warden badge and wallet were later recovered.

VICTORIA - A 2003 tan Ford Explorer in the 100 block of Yuma Drive on Friday. A black and tan purse valued at $800, a black and tan wallet valued at $150 and a white iPhone 4S valued at $500 were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A 2012 red Chevrolet Camaro in the 3600 block of North Navarro Street on Saturday. A Doonie and Burke purse valued at $150, a credit card, a Social Security card valued at $25, a Leopard Consuela purse valued at $200, Halo glasses valued at $150 and a set of keys valued at $10 were reported missing.

VICTORIA - A vehicle in the 3500 block of Nimitz Street on Saturday. An Alpine radio valued at $60, a Cricket cellphone and a credit/debit card was reported missing.

VICTORIA - A building in the 100 block of North Moody Street on Monday. A Coleman stainless steel ice chest valued at $130 was reported missing.

VICTORIA - A home in the 500 block of Troon Road on Sunday. A set of four keys with computer chips installed in them valued at $450 was reported missing.

VICTORIA - A 1999 black Chrysler 300 in the 5800 block of North John Stockbauer on Saturday. Two sets of checks valued at $1 each, a debit card valued at $12, a child support card from Missouri valued at $1, a black leather purse with a silver strap valued at $50, a Lone Star card valued at $1 and $400 cash were reported missing. The front right window was also broken, with estimated damage of $250.

VICTORIA - A building in the 1600 block of Bottom Road on Monday. Nothing was reported missing.

VICTORIA - A home in the 1700 block of Avondale Street on Monday. A TV valued at $800 was reported missing.

VICTORIA - A vehicle in the 5000 block of North Navarro Street on Monday. A wallet and contents valued at $885 were reported missing.



Robbed

VICTORIA - Stripes Store in the 2000 block of North Navarro Street on Monday, with $10 reported stolen.



Stolen

VICTORIA - A Croft and Barrow leather wallet valued at $16.80 from a department store in the 8900 block of North Navarro Street. It was later recovered.

VICTORIA - A remote controlled helicopter valued at $28.88 from a grocery store in the 9000 block of North Navarro Street on Saturday. It was later recovered.

VICTORIA - A Sprint Galaxy S3 cellphone valued at $400 from a restaurant in the 7600 block of Northeast Zac Lentz Parkway on Sunday.

VICTORIA - An Apple iPhone 4S valued at $400 from a restaurant in the 7000 block of Northeast Zac Lentz Parkway on Saturday.

VICTORIA - A Clinique makeup bag valued at $10, a Chevrolet key fob valued at $200, house keys valued at $2 and a Keflex prescription valued at $20 from a pharmacy in the 500 block of East San Antonio Street on Saturday.

VICTORIA - A Sony 52-inch LED TV valued at $1,000 and three gold rings valued at $100 from a home in the 2100 block of East Colorado Street Saturday.

VICTORIA - $5,100 in cash from a business in the 1200 block of Southwest Moody Street on Sunday.

VICTORIA - A Craftsman self-propel mower valued at $25 from a home in the 1100 block of Julius Street on Sunday.

VICTORIA - A black micro fridge valued at $550 and a white lamp shade valued at $20 from a hotel in the 7600 block of North Navarro Street on Friday.

VICTORIA -A Ford tailgate, valued at $550, in the 8500 block of North Navarro Street on Monday.



Damaged

VICTORIA - A metal screen valued at $25 in the 2000 block of Palm Drive Saturday.

VICTORIA - The windows of a 1996 blue Chevrolet truck valued at $750, a 1947 black Ford truck valued at $850, a 1970 blue GMC 4x4 truck valued at $875, a 1957 white Chevrolet 150 valued at $1,000 in the 400 block of North Mood Street on Sunday.

VICTORIA - Boxes, clothing, pillow and blankets all valued at $75 at a home in the 100 block of Southwest Ben Jordan Street on Friday after someone threw gasoline on them.

VICTORIA - The front swinging door valued at $300 of a home in the 1200 block of Taylor Avenue on Saturday.

VICTORIA - The front window valued at $150 of a home in the 3000 block of Bluebonnet Drive on Sunday.

VICTORIA - A wooden door valued at $200 at a home in the 5600 block of North John Stockbauer Drive on Monday.

VICTORIA - A 2x3 glass window valued at $50 at a home in the 1700 block of East Guadalupe Street on Friday.

VICTORIA - A business in the 4400 block of Lilac Lane on Monday with $5,000 in damage from graffiti reported.



Sentenced

Editor's Note: An indictment is not an indication of guilt. It is a finding by a grand jury that enough evidence exists to warrant a trial.

VICTORIA - A grand jury indicted the following people on March 21:

Luis Francisco Moreno, 22, of Van Nuys, Calif., on a charge of manufacturing and delivering of a controlled substance about 400 grams. He is charged with possessing with the intent to deliver more than 400 grams of heroin on Jan. 12.

Ruby Rodriguez Guerrero, 27, of Victoria, on a charge of driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age. She is charged with driving while intoxicated while she had a 15-year-old passenger on Jan. 4.

Ramon Damian, 39, of Victoria, on a charge of injury to a child/criminal negligence. He is charged with throwing drawers at and pepper spraying a 14-year-old child on Jan. 24.

Alexander Guzman, 20, of Victoria, on a charge of burglary of a building charge. He is charged with entering a building not open to the public and stealing a purse on Jan. 9.

Stephen Navarro, 44, of Victoria, on charges of theft of wire or cable made up of 50 percent of aluminum, bronze or copper valued at less than $20,000 and theft of property between $1,500 and $20,000. He is charged with stealing the material from a business in the 7500 block of U.S. Highway 59 on Sept. 22. He is also charged with stealing rocker base extensions, an aluminum rim, EK series batteries and automobile batteries valued between $1,500 and $20,000 from that same business on Sept. 29.

Steven Lynn Kingery, 45, of Victoria, on a charge of theft of property less than $1,500 with two or more previous convictions. He is charged with stealing a chain saw valued at less than $1,500 on Jan. 12.

Gilbert C. Garza, 29, of Victoria, on four indictments. In the first indictment, he is charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle and stealing an automobile engine valued at less than $1,500 on Jan. 19. In the second indictment, he is charged with forging a signature on two checks on Nov. 20. In the third indictment, he is charged with forging a signature on a check, stealing that money and possessing someone's drivers license on Oct. 19. In the fourth indictment, he is charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle and stealing tires and a car battery valued at less than $1,500 from a business in the 1600 block of North Laurent Street on Oct. 24.

Jennifer Ann Olson, 27, of Houston, on a charge of forgery of a financial instrument. She is charged with forging a signature on a check on July 25.

Lazaro M. Garcia, 49, of Houston, on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge. He is charged with cutting a man with a knife on Jan. 22.

James Lee Pena, 34, of Victoria, on a charge of possession of marijuana between 4 ounces and 5 pounds in a drug-free zone on Jan. 16.

Ruben Andres Baldez, 31, of Victoria, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance less than 1 gram charge. He is charged with possessing less than 1 gram of cocaine on Jan. 25.

Rodney Alan Baker, 51, of Victoria, on a charge of driving while intoxicated third or more offense on Feb. 3.

Chad Wayne Eaton, 29, of Victoria, on a charge of aggravated assault of a family or household member by impeding their breath or circulation charge. He is charged with applying pressure to his girlfriend's throat or neck on Jan. 27.
