Editor, the Advocate:
It is time for all Americans, especially Christians, to speak up and call your congressmen, senators, representatives etc. to stand up for marriage between a man and a woman. Pastors need to include this as well as speak out against abortion in their Sunday sermons.
Everyone seems to be afraid they may hurt someone's feelings. What about God's feelings?
Homosexuality is mentioned at least 14 times in the Bible. Corinthians 1:9-10 is one of them. Even a non-Christian can understand this one.
Maybe you don't realize that 3,000 babies a day are aborted. There have been more than 50 million since 1973.
Christians are being mocked everywhere. We can't have prayer in school, but they can teach children as young as kindergarten about homosexuality. College students in Florida were told to write Jesus on a piece of paper, place it on the floor and stomp on it. The boy who refused was reprimanded for refusing to do what the professor told him to do. The Quran can be taught in school. Christians were arrested in front of the White House for praying in the street, but Muslims are not.
Planned Parenthood is nothing but an abortion clinic. The Susan G. Komen organization sent more than $500,000 to Planned Parenthood in 2012. Is that what you want your breast cancer donations to finance?
Jesus died on the cross for all of us, and he is being mocked in today's society.
God help us.
