A Ford F250 pickup rests on the side of the road after a collision on U.S. Highway 59 and Midway Road several miles outside Inez in Victoria County.

A 6-year-old girl and two Edna men were taken to Citizens Medical Center on Friday after they were injured when their truck rolled in a two-vehicle wreck.

The driver, Craig Mabry, 49, his daughter, Mika Mabry, 6, and Craig's brother, Shane Mabry, 27, all of Edna, were on U.S. Highway 59 North in a Ford F-250, said Department of Public Safety Trooper Wayne Cipriani.

The other driver, Sheryl Meitzen, 35, of Cuero, was in a Ford Escort and was entering the highway intersection at Midway Road. Her vehicle crossed the highway's northbound lanes.

Mabry tried to avoid hitting Meitzen, Cipriani said, but instead went into the median and flipped over. The vehicles collided just after 5 p.m.

Meitzen refused to be taken to the hospital. The three Mabrys were listed in stable condition as of Friday afternoon.

Cipriani said Meitzen will be cited for failing to yield the right-of-way.
