Friends of Library book sale offers a little something for all readers

• WHEN: 2-4 p.m. Sunday, members only; 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m.-noon May 11

Turn in your old books and buy some new gently used books to replace them.

The Friends of the Library book sale runs Monday through May 11 in the Victoria Public Library's Bronte Room.

Members can come and peruse the books during the presale from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday and renew memberships. Those interested in becoming members can purchase memberships at that time.

The regular sale will continue during the library hours and until noon May 11.

On the last day of the sale, all remaining books will be for sale at half price. The last day of the sale will also offer a bag of books for $1.

Books include fiction, nonfiction, children's, art, textbooks, religion and other genres. Other items include movies and music.

Proceeds from the sale are used to buy books and other materials for the Victoria Public Library as well as fund reading and enrichment programs.
