ALTAIR - The Faith Academy baseball team saw its season come to an end Monday night with a 10-1 loss at the hands of Lake Jackson Brazosport Christian.

Jacob Nunez had the lone highlight of the night for the Cougars (12-8) with a solo home run to left-center field that cut Brazosport Christian School's lead to 5-1 in the top of the sixth inning.

However, the Eagles answered right back with five runs of their own in the bottom half of the inning.

Lilo Garza took the loss for Faith after working 61/3 innings. Nathan Alexander took the win for Brazosport Christian, allowing just four hits and striking out 14 batters.

Nunez, Garza, Geoffrey Graff and Mario Garcia were the only Cougars to register a hit.
