Someone recently asked me whether they should put their support behind Paul Polasek for mayor. There is a lot of history behind my resounding "yes" answer.
I first met Paul at Region 3 attending one of his trainings. It was apparent then as it is now that Paul is committed to excellence for everything in which he is involved. Everyone I worked with at our district and other districts in the surrounding counties held this sentiment.
Both our children attended OLV, and Paul encouraged me to volunteer my time and technical expertise. Often, Paul purchased equipment out of his own pocket without asking for anything in return.
Paul served as pack leader for Cub Scouts at the school. I remember his excitement for an upcoming Pinewood Derby event because the pack was always fired up. Again, he encouraged me to volunteer!
Our business relationship started in 2007, and time and again Paul has demonstrated his conservative values, knowing when it's appropriate to spend or save.
Paul has earned my vote for mayor of Victoria because he has earned my trust and respect and demonstrated his willingness to work and give unconditionally.
I humbly ask you to consider these qualities when casting your vote.
