May 10, 2013 at 12:10 a.m.

A Chevrolet Malibu and a Pontiac G6 are towed away after being involved in a three-vehicle wreck in the 9200 block of Navarro Street. Two people were sent to Victoria hospitals Friday afternoon.

Two people were injured in a three-vehicle wreck in the 9200 block of Navarro Street just after 1:30 p.m. Friday.

The collision occurred when the driver of a 1999 Mercury Sable, Cynthia Spaeth, 57, of Victoria, pulled out of the driveway of Sam's Club heading south on Navarro. She failed to yield the right of way to a silver 2005 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by Aaron Zuniga, 19, of Victoria, who was heading north on Navarro in the middle lane, said Senior Patrol Officer Phillip Barron.

The force of the impact caused the Malibu to continue north into the southbound lane, where it was struck by a 2006 Pontiac G6 driven by Mary Hemphill, 55, of Oklahoma, Barron said.

Hemphill was transported to DeTar Hospital Navarro, where she was listed in stable condition, a hospital spokesman said.

Zuniga was transported to Citizens Medical Center. He was treated and released.

Spaeth and a passenger in the G6, Amanda Hemphill, refused transportation.

No citations were issued, the officer said.
