4 people treated, released from hospital after 2-vehicle crash

Three people and a child were treated and released from a hospital after being injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning.

According to the crash report, mail carrier Diana Henderson, 55, of Victoria, stopped at Velocity Powersports on the 13100 block of North Navarro - within city limits - to deliver mail. James Vaughn, 35, of Victoria, was driving a Chevrolet Trailblazer behind Henderson and didn't notice she had stopped. Vaughn's Trailblazer struck Henderson's vehicle from behind.

Vaughn eventually struck a utility pole.

Police and medics responded to the scene at 10:30 a.m.

Henderson was treated and release from Citizens Medical Center.

Inside Vaughn's vehicle were passengers Stephanie Vaughn, 29, and Mia Vaughn, 2. All three were taken to DeTar Hospital Navarro, where they were treated and released.

No citations were issued.
