City Administrator Larry Zermeno of Goliad and Dr. Carmen Montoya of Houston, Texas, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Ms. Adriana Elena Zermeno to Mr. Peter McGrath, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Elaine McGrath of Long Island, New York.
The bride is the granddaughter of William and Estella Zermeno of Goliad, Texas, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Eduardo and Socorro Montoya of Houston, Texas.
Adriana is a 1995 graduate of Douglas MacArthur High School in San Antonio, Texas. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Advertising from the University of Texas in Austin with honors in 1999. She is currently employed in the Advertising Division of Prudential Financial Services in Newark, New Jersey.
Peter is a 1995 graduate of Holy Trinity High School in Hicksville-Long Island, New York. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications with honors in 1999, from The College of Mount St. Vincent in Riverdale, New York. He is a Partner at the MEC Media Agency in Manhattan, New York.
The couple will exchange vows at 2:00 p.m. on May 18, 2013, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houston, Texas. Father Peter Mastrobuono, SC.J. who officiated the bride's first communion, will be the celebrant at their wedding. Matron of honor is Mrs. Crystal Estelle Zermeno-Munoz of Oakland, California. The best man will be Mr. Frederick Nathan Gundrum of Chicago, Illinois. Padrinos are Mr. Apolonio Munoz and Mrs. Crystal Estelle Zermeno-Munoz. The ring bearer will be Keegan Zermeno. Flower girls will be Julia Noelle Wiesner and Saoirse Zermeno, nephew and nieces of the bride.
A reception will be held following the ceremony at Hotel ZaZa. The couple will spend their honeymoon in Hawaii. They will reside in Hoboken, New Jersey.
