Former Moulton officer hurt in crash

Fayette County Deputy Sheriff Perry Kram was injured Friday morning when his patrol car was hit while stationary along Interstate 10.
Kram is a resident of Moulton and a former member of the Moulton Police Department.
According to a news release from the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, Kram was parked off the roadway at 11:45 a.m. working radar when his patrol car was struck from behind by a 1997 Chevrolet passenger car driven by Leo Miller, 51, of Indianapolis.
Both men were taken by helicopter to Brackenridge Hospital in Austin. Kram was listed in good condition, and Miller was in fair condition as of Saturday night, a hospital spokeswoman said.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
