Car collides with tanker truck; one injured

A purple Ford Focus was wedged under a tanker truck at the intersection of U.S. Highway 87 and Pleasant Green Drive in Victoria on Monday morning. The Ford Focus hit the tanker truck in the 4300 block of Port Lavaca Drive where it was traveling west when the tanker truck pulled out from the stop sign on Pleasant Green Drive according to officials on the scene. There was a small crude oil spill. The woman driving the Ford was transported to Citizens Medical Center.
