St. Michael's Spring Festival Sunday in Cuero

Showing off some of the auction items for the annual St. Michael's Spring Festival on Sunday in Cuero are from the left, Father Dave Berger, Emma Leck, Warner Hancock, Kathleen Ernster, Weldon Hancock, Mary McCurdy and Dawn Warzecha.

The annual St. Michael's Spring Festival will be held Sunday on the parish grounds at 309 E. Church St. in Cuero.

A roast beef dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with plates to go available. Meal tickets are $8.

A live auction with auctioneer Joe Adams begins at 12:30 p.m.

Among the auction items are a bench with a large Texas A&M logo, handcrafted chiming clock, handmade quilts, a Green Egg smoker/grill, a working ceiling fan from the original St. Michael's School, golf outings, fishing trips, deer hunts in Terrell County, a weekend in Rockport, ribeye steaks, plants and baked goods.

Activities for children will be available during the festival, as well as a silent auction, cakewalk, country store and a raffle with the top prize a $1,000 Visa gift card.
