Officials investigate a one-vehicle wreck on Farm-to-Market Road 236 near Champlain Drive around 11 p.m. Thursday. One person was taken to DeTar Hospital Navarro.

MISSION VALLEY - A one-vehicle rollover on Farm-to-Market Road 236 sent one man to a Victoria hospital about 11 p.m. Thursday.

Department of Public Safety Trooper James Vinson said the man, who has not been identified, was driving a white four-door Chevrolet Silverado south on the road when he drove into the north lane.

Vinson said the driver hit a ditch, and the truck began to bounce, sending him into a rollover. The truck came to rest on the passenger side next to a utility pole in the 1500 block of the farm road.

The driver was taken by ambulance to DeTar Hospital Navarro with minor injuries, Vinson said.

The trooper added the man may have been intoxicated and was trying to catch up with another vehicle when the wreck occurred.
