The two women involved in a wreck in Port Lavaca on Thursday were treated and released from Citizens Medical Center, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Deborah Sue Knobles, 46, of Port Lavaca, was traveling west on state Highway 238, also known as West Austin Street, in a 2006 blue Hyundai Santa Fe. She struck the passenger side of a 1995 black Chevrolet Blazer, said Port Lavaca Police Department Cpl. Ykuiam Denson.
Kassandra Escobedo, 19, of Port Lavaca, the driver of the Blazer, was at a stop sign and failed to yield, Denson said.
It is unknown whether either of the women wore their seat belts, but the airbags deployed. They were taken by ambulance to Citizens Medical Center.
Denson said no citations were issued, and the investigation is now complete.
Port Lavaca Police Department Cpl. Eric Salles investigated the wreck.
