Three people were transported to a Victoria hospital Thursday morning after their vehicle collided with a light pole and business sign.
The one-vehicle wreck occurred shortly after 2 a.m. in the 1300 block of Sam Houston Drive near Miori Lane, according to information from the Victoria Fire Department.
Two adults, Simon Escobedo and Isabel Garcia, both 21 and of Victoria, and a 2-year-old child were involved in the wreck. All three were taken to Citizens Medical Center.
Escobedo was treated and released, and Garcia was transferred to San Antonio Military Medical Center, according to a hospital supervisor.
The adults were wearing seat belts and the child was in a car seat, a spokesman with the police department said. The airbags did deploy.
Garcia suffered a broken arm, and Escobedo was treated for a head injury, the spokesman said.
