A suspected drunken driver left the scene of a Victoria crash Friday night.

The unidentified man was driving westbound on Farm-to-Market Road 1685 about 8:30 p.m. and failed to stop at a stop sign before crossing Farm-to-Market Road 236, said Trooper Stephen Gray of the Department of Public Safety.

John Martinez, 17, of Victoria, was traveling north on Farm-to-Market Road 236 and swerved his gold Ford F-150 to avoid a collision, Gray said.

Martinez's truck was towed from the scene. He was not injured.

The unidentified man was thought to be driving a gray or gold Chevrolet Silverado truck and was heading east on Coletoville Road.
