Can you tell me about the Vocal Trash performance coming up this week? Where can I purchase tickets for Vocal Trash?
In celebration of Texas Recycles Day, the city's Environmental Services Department, in partnership with Keep Victoria Beautiful, is bringing Vocal Trash back to Victoria for a second year.
This eclectic group of musicians mixes its love of music with their passion for recycling and making the Earth a cleaner, greener and better place. The band makes all of its instruments from recycled materials, and its entire performance is about reducing, reusing and recycling.
This year, the show will be at the VISD Fine Arts Center. Two private performances for school children will be held and one ticketed evening performance for the community will be at 6:30 Thursday.
Tickets are $7 for adults, $3 for children. Kids 6 years or younger and seniors 60 years and older get in free. Tickets can be purchased at the Environmental Services Office, 700 Main Center, Suite 113 or at the Keep Victoria Beautiful office at 3003 N. Vine St. The office can be reached at 361-571-0582, and information can also be found by calling Environmental Services at 361-485-3230.
What do I do if I received a traffic ticket and forgot about paying it? Can I be arrested?
If you forget about paying your traffic ticket, you should call the City's Municipal Court immediately at 361-485-3050 or stop by the Municipal Court, 107 W. Juan Linn St.
The court may have issued a warrant for your arrest. The Municipal Court will assist you and explain your options regarding any cases you have with the Municipal Court.
If you have an active warrant at the Victoria Police Department, you can be arrested at any time. The city of Victoria employs a full-time warrant officer to locate people with active warrants.
To take care of your warrant, the court clerks will assist you and explain your options regarding any arrest warrants arising from the issuance of city of Victoria citations. You may appear at 107 W. Juan Linn St., pay online at victoriatx.org or contact us by phone at 361- 485-3050. Municipal Court is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
You may be eligible to set up a payment plan to pay your fines, but you must contact the Municipal Court to determine eligibility. If you don't agree with the ticket and would like to contest it, contact Municipal Court for more information.
